I'm Laura S. Espejo, a comic book artist, children's illustrator, and multidisciplinary creator based in Spain. With over 15 years of experience, my passion lies in bringing stories to life through memorable characters and worlds full of imagination.
My work specializes in visual narrative, seamlessly bridging the gap between the soft charm of children's illustration and the dynamic energy of comics and manga. I hold a Higher Degree in Graphic Design and a Master's Degree in Digital Illustration and 2D Animation, a background that allows me to bring a technical, versatile, and professional vision to every project.
My Journey & Projects
I enjoy creating deep characters and immersive environments. My most recent work includes "Promises a New Autumn" (2023), a self-published project that explores more personal narrative grounds. I have also delved into the power of visual storytelling without words in "Bajo la espada y el manto" (2026), a silent comic that challenges traditional boundaries.
Currently, I am expanding my reach through webcomics and independent publishing. My latest title, "Guardianas de la Aurora" (2026), reflects my commitment to high-quality independent manga, while "Closet Ghirul" and "Love is Not My Thing" mark my expansion into the global digital market through platforms like Mangadraft.
Beyond the drawing board, I am passionate about education, sharing my expertise through manga-style drawing classes and helping clients shape unique ideas through custom commissions.
